Why Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are Spending Fall 2021 Apart

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s constant hangouts on the West and East Coasts and weeks-long yacht vacations in Europe won’t continue into the fall. People reports that Bennifer is going all in on spending their summer together because autumn will separate them…due to professional obligations.

“They are spending as much time together as possible before they have separate work projects in the fall,” a source told the outlet. “Ben will be filming in Texas and Jennifer in Canada.”

Lopez is planning a Los Angeles move and was photographed mansion-searching with Affleck there. They aren’t moving in together at this point, a source told E! in mid-July. “She is looking for a new home for herself. She plans to be in L.A. full time so she’d like a home that is more substantial for her and the kids.”

“Ben is supportive of the entire thing and is happy to connect her with people and help her look,” the source added, stressing for now that “they aren’t buying a mansion together.”

Lopez and Affleck first started dating again this May. The two were originally together from 2002 to January 2004. During that time, they got engaged and ultimately called off their September 2003 wedding.

The two are not about to get re-engaged now, a source told E! in late July. [They] are fully committed to each other,” a source told the outlet then. “[They are] not needing to get married again.”

“They have been meshing their lives and families and don’t feel the need to get engaged yet or even tie the knot,” the source added. “They have both been there and don’t feel it’s necessary. They are both very secure within their relationship, and Ben worships her. It’s truly meant to be and everyone around them thinks they are a perfect match.”
